Nerad said that when Advantive acquires a company, it goes into one of the existing lines of business. A recent manufacturing acquisition, for example, went under the manufacturing GM. Leaders from the acquired company join that line of business, so ownership is clear from the start and the work becomes learning what is different about the acquired company.
